This series emerged through the combination of portraits and images connected to specific moments, experiences, and memories.
In these works, the portrait becomes a surface upon which other images appear. Memories emerge across the face, fade into it, and at times merge with it.
The different layers of imagery destabilize the boundaries between portrait and memory, past and present, or reality and its recollection. What takes shape is not a precise reconstruction of an event, but an image of how it remains within memory.
